The Band Standing T Raise is a low-load exercise designed to improve scapular control and activate the posterior shoulder musculature, particularly the rear deltoids, middle trapezius and rhomboids. The standing position and progressive resistance provided by the band allow athletes to develop movement awareness and coordination while maintaining excellent technical control. Within athletic development and injury-prevention programs, exercises of this type are frequently used to improve shoulder load tolerance, promote efficient scapulohumeral rhythm and maintain a balanced relationship between the anterior and posterior musculature of the shoulder girdle. For these reasons, they are commonly prescribed for overhead athletes and individuals exposed to prolonged postures or high volumes of pressing work.
